About us
The Department of Finance at China University of Technology was established in 2001. It has more 16 years of history until now. All together there are 13 classes and almost 700 students in the department.

The department aims to cultivate students’ professional, communicative, cooperative and innovative capabilities for fulfilling the industrial requirements of professional staff in finance. We equip our students with integrated knowledge and skills in professional finance. Our elective courses for those knowledge and skills are organized into two modules: financial markets and financial institutions.

Curriculum
The department offers a curriculum that aims at developing interdisciplinary course modules and provides a competitive practical training program for the students. The objective is to ensure job opportunities for well-trained graduates in a rapidly changing industry.

Requirements
1. General Education (24 credits)
2. Foundation Courses in College of Business (22 credits)
3. Required Courses in Finance (30 credits)
4. Elective Courses in Finance (at least 52 credits)
Total a minimum of 128 credits for Finance Major.
